TechCrunch has released the speaker list for its Founder Summit 2026, which takes place on November 4 at the SoWa Power Station in Boston. The full-day gathering is co-hosted with Fidelity Private Shares and targets founders, investors, and operators who must make critical business decisions before market conditions settle.
The agenda extends beyond common topics like artificial intelligence and fundraising. Planned sessions address customer acquisition, team construction, and pitch refinement. A central theme involves balancing rapid expansion with strategic restraint. Kent Bennett of Bessemer Venture Partners will lead a session on identifying product market fit before increasing headcount or spending. Rudina Seseri of Glasswing Ventures will examine when to accelerate growth and when to slow down to protect the business.
Steve Fredette, who serves as president and co-founder of Toast, will speak on the Impact Stage. His presentation will cover how the Boston-based company evolved into a public entity while maintaining its core mission. The session aims to explore how companies can adapt to shifting customer expectations and technological changes without losing their original identity.
Lior Div, CEO of 7AI, will present on building companies around artificial intelligence from the start. He will contrast this approach with adding AI features to existing processes. The session covers architectural and operational models designed specifically for AI integration.
Local expertise forms a major part of the program. Chase Garbarino, CEO of HqO, will discuss the Boston founder playbook. His talk will address talent, capital, and community resources available outside the Bay Area. This segment aligns with Fredette's speech to emphasize that major companies can be built in Boston without replicating Silicon Valley models.
Dave Balter of True Ventures will lead a session on pitching. Later in the day, founders will present live to a panel that includes Balter, Chirag Shah of Define Ventures, and Simran Suri of Maveron. Attendees will receive immediate feedback from these investors.
Additional speakers include Hunter Worland of NEA, who will discuss distribution as a competitive advantage, and Vineet Edupuganti of Cogent Security, who will focus on building high-performing teams. Tina Tosukhowong of TDK Ventures will analyze signals that identify successful product categories. Fidelity Private Shares will also provide sessions on fundraising trends and enterprise relationships. The event includes roundtables, networking opportunities, and a closing reception. TechCrunch is currently offering a 25 percent discount on tickets and a buy-one-get-one promotion for early registrants.
