iPhone Duo needs 60W hardware for 20-minute 50% charge

Apple has published documentation specifying the hardware required to achieve maximum charging speeds on the iPhone Duo.
The company states that the device can reach 50 percent battery capacity in approximately 20 minutes via a wired connection. This speed is contingent on using the USB-C cable included in the packaging along with a compatible power adapter.
Apple lists its 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max as a primary option, priced at $34. Users may also select third-party adapters rated for 60W or higher, provided the units support Adjustable Voltage Supply and USB Power Delivery 3.2.
Wireless charging offers a slower but still rapid alternative. Apple indicates the iPhone Duo can attain 50 percent charge in about 30 minutes when used with a MagSafe Charger, which costs $30. Alternatively, users can employ an adapter rated at 35W or higher, with Apple citing compatible options from its own lineup and Anker.
Reporters note that third-party solutions often provide better value than first-party gear. Anker’s 100W charging brick is highlighted as a versatile option suitable for iPhones, Macs, and iPads. Apple’s 40W adapter remains a viable choice for those preferring an official brand product.
Consumers seeking greater cable length can purchase Apple’s official 2-meter USB-C cable, which is currently available at a discount.
