Mick Jagger, 83, runs 12 kilometers every day as the core of a rigorous physical routine designed to sustain his concert performance. The Rolling Stones vocalist trains five to six days a week, combining this daily run with cycling, swimming, sprints, and kickboxing to build elite aerobic capacity and power.

To maintain the balance and posture required for his stage choreography, Jagger also attends classes in dance and classical ballet. These sessions are intended to strengthen his joints and tendons, reducing the risk of falls or injuries during live shows. His weekly regimen concludes with yoga and pilates, which he uses to improve muscle elasticity and lower stress levels.

Jagger works with a personal trainer who specializes in high-performance athletes. The program is structured to provide comprehensive physical conditioning rather than focusing on a single sport. This approach allows him to perform jumps, dance, and walk up to 19 kilometers on stage during a single concert.

The vocalist has shifted his lifestyle away from the excesses of his early rock career, focusing instead on longevity and wellness. He monitors his nutrition and recovery closely, treating his body with the discipline of an Olympic competitor. This shift has allowed him to maintain a level of vitality that is rare for someone over the age of 80.

Jagger’s sleep schedule aligns with his late-night lifestyle. He stated, “I go to bed at two in the morning and get up at ten in the morning.” This routine ensures he gets eight hours of uninterrupted deep sleep. He considers this rest period essential for muscle regeneration and central nervous system recovery after his daily physical exertion.

The combination of high-volume cardio, functional movement training, and strict sleep hygiene forms the basis of his current health strategy. Jagger attributes his ability to perform at this level not to genetics or luck, but to consistent physical and mental discipline. His routine reflects a deliberate effort to extend his active career while managing the physical demands of touring.
