Israel’s national election is scheduled for Tuesday, October 27, and the campaign has intensified focus on the country’s relationship with Washington.

Ophir Falk, the foreign policy adviser to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, issued written remarks on Sunday urging voters to select the leadership best equipped to coordinate with the White House. Falk stated that removing the Iranian government is in the best interests of America, Israel, and civilization. He identified the pairing of Netanyahu and U.S. President Donald Trump as the team suited to execute this objective.

Falk framed the election as a choice regarding who will lead Israel during the final two years of the Trump administration. He asked voters to consider who will best cooperate with the President to finish the work in Iran and expand regional peace. The adviser noted that Trump wants to work with Netanyahu, while Israel’s adversaries, including Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and Iran, prefer a different outcome. Falk added that the Israeli-American alliance has never been stronger, while Iran and its proxies have never been weaker.

President Trump supported Falk’s assessment on Sunday evening. The president posted on Truth Social, renewing his endorsement of the Prime Minister. He wrote, "Vote for Bibi Netanyahu for Prime Minister; we have to finish the job that we started!"

Falk first discussed the prospect of regime change in an October 15 interview with The Jerusalem Post. At that time, he described Israel as very close to creating the conditions for such a shift. He emphasized that the final decision rests with the Iranian people. His recent comments did not specify the methods the United States and Israel would use or provide a timetable for the removal of Iran's leadership.
