Fi has lowered the price of its satellite-connected dog trackers by 30 percent, a reduction that brings the cost of its top model back to its original launch level. The discount runs through October 25 and requires customers to enter the code SCARY at checkout. The promotion applies to several models, including the Fi Ultra GPS, which now sells for $209.30.

The Fi Ultra is rated IP68 for full waterproofing, including exposure to saltwater. The device attaches to a collar or harness and uses a combination of LTE, GPS, and Starlink satellite signals to locate pets in areas without cellular service. Fi positions the product as the first dog tracker to integrate T-Satellite with Starlink, GPS, and LTE. The hardware can also emit sounds and vibrations to alert the animal to its owner.

Battery performance varies by usage. Standard operation offers up to five days of life, though this depends on the dog's activity level. When the device enters Lost Mode to prioritize frequent updates, a full charge lasts barely two days. The unit is relatively large, making it a better fit for medium and large breeds than smaller dogs.

The Verge evaluated the tracker earlier this year in a remote area of South Carolina. The testing showed precise location data, but the device updated its position only every two to three minutes. This interval may limit its utility for fast-moving animals. The review noted that the physical size of the tracker was a notable factor for smaller pets.

Using the tracking features requires an active subscription. Fi offers plans for six months, one year, or two years, with lower monthly rates for longer commitments. The one-year plan costs $99 for the initial period and $189 for each subsequent year. These plans are currently valid only in the United States, and satellite coverage does not include Alaska.

Other discounts are available at the same retailer. Amazon is selling a physical copy of Kirby Air Riders for the Nintendo Switch 2 at $48.99, down from the standard $69.99. The JLab JBuds Talk USB-C microphone is listed at $24.99, a drop from its usual range of $50 to $100. Lego’s Star Wars Grogu set, which contains 1,200 pieces, is priced at $103.99, marking its lowest recorded cost.
